Rural Health Group is looking for a committed Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This telehealth position allows you to work from home while providing essential mental health services to individuals in rural and remote areas throughout Queensland. We are seeking:
- PACFA Registered Counsellors
- Social Worker with Mental Health Accreditation or working towards credentialing
- Registered Psychologists

Whether you’re a Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker or PACFA Registered Counsellor, we want to hear from you. As a Mental Health Clinician with Rural Health Group, you’ll be at the forefront of providing clinical and therapeutic services. Collaborating with a range of stakeholders and contributing to the delivery of diverse mental health services across the organisation.

Essential Qualifications, Education, & Experience
Rural Health Group promotes Equal Employment Opportunity. All selection is based on proven experience, qualifications and/or training, demonstrated ability to acquire necessary skills and attributes, and the person’s potential to undertake the responsibilities of the position.
- Approved tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) as a psychologist or
- Current membership or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or
- Registration with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA)
- Demonstrated competence in the provision of a full range of mental health services including psychological assessments
- A commitment to providing evidence based clinical support to people with mental health concerns
- Extensive experience in evidence based and best practice clinical assessment, treatment, referral and case management development
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
- Full work rights in Australia
- Satisfactory criminal history check
